What counties does Summit Management Group cover?

Summit Management Group services the areas of Rockdale, Newton, Henry, Morgan, Walton, Gwinnett and DeKalb counties. Please check our Rental Properties section of the website for rental properties that are currently available.

What are the qualifications for a rental with Summit Management Group?

At Summit Management Group, we ask that all applications be completed in full. Our qualifications are that we run complete checks on credit, criminal, evictions and employment. Although we do run a full credit report, your ability to rent is not sole based on your credit rating. What we do want to see that you are currently working and have a stable work history. If you are not currently working then we would need to see that you have the financial abiltiy to rent whether it be through a co-signer, a savings account, an inheritance or some other means. We will look for previous evictions and ask that no evictions be on your record within the past 12 months. We will also pull a full criminal report and we do not want to see any felony convictions that have occured within the past 7 years. We will verify all of the information that is provided including your employment and your previous and current places of residency.

Will Summit Management Group hold a property for me?

Yes. After being approved for the rental property, Summit Management Group will hold the property for a maximum of 10 days upon collection of a non-refundable holding despoit of one month's rent.

When is my rent due?

Rent is due on the 1st of the month. We do offer a day grace period but if your rent has not been received by the 5th day of the month then it is considered late and is subject to any late fees. Mailing your rental payment on the 5th day of the month does not exclude you from a late fee.

How do I make my rental payments?

Please be advised that some of our tenants pay rent in the name of the owner of the property and not to Summit Management Group. Who your rent is made out to will be explained in detail to you at the signing of your lease. All rental payments are collected and documented by Summit Management Group and then delivered to the proper owner. Your payments are mailed to:

Some of our apartment complexes do have an on site secured Drop Box that is collected daily. If you are a tenant at one of these apartment complexes then you have the option of mailing or putting you payment in the drop box.
